Motor Skills Monday- DIY Straw Bracelets

Motor Skills Monday- DIY Straw Bracelets

This week on “Motor Skill Monday” we tried out an interesting activity of threading pieces of straw together to make a DIY necklace and bracelet. I highly recommend this for ages 2.5 and older as it’s optimal for fine motor skills. It’s quite helpful for them to recognise and sort their colours and also develop their hand eye coordination while they’re threading. Please supervise the children when they’re wearing these bracelets or necklaces as they have no safety release catches. This activity is great to do for play dates as well!
